Mothers Day Stall
Volunteers for Mothers Day Stall - Year 6 parents we need you
The P&C is hoping to run the Mothers Days stall in 2021 on Thursday, 6 May. Whilst volunteers are of course welcome from any year group, we have allocated this event to Year 6 parents to come and volunteer for the P&C, that way you'll know many familiar faces.

P&C Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Coogee Public School P&C Association will be held next Tuesday 16th March 2021, commencing at 6pm at the School Library (access via Byron St gate).
This will be immediately followed by the ordinary General Meeting at
7pm. If you would prefer to join remotely, we will be sending out the ZOOM link closer to the day.
Please join our P&C or renew your membership (existing members) on Flexischools (under Payments section). It's only $1 and makes you eligible to vote on all of our motions and nominate for a committee or Exec position at our AGM.
A strong and well-supported P&C is good for our kids in enhancing a great school community and environment so please have your say and

Tea & Tissues
In these COVID times, unfortunately we can't mingle for long on school grounds. But we still very much want to welcome you and make sure you're signed up - even if it has to be quick. You might even meet some other parents as you pop in and decide to catch up outside the school to get to know each other.
COVID REQUIREMENTS: QR code check in specifically for tea and tissues attendees, please let us serve you the food or drinks (our volunteers will hand to you), use the sanitiser provided and maintaining 1.5 metre physical distance. Masks are optional on school grounds and please move off school grounds once served. Please don't attend if you have the slightest symptoms, are a close contact or are from a red zone.
Please register your attendance by letting us know on the Kindy 2021 what's app group as soon as possible to assist us with catering. (if you're not on the What'sApp group yet, you can join via the link on the Kindy 2021 page.

First day back to school for years 1-6
As per the final BUZZ for 2020, Matt Townsend has confirmed that the first day back at school for 2021 for years 1-6 is FRIDAY 29 JAN.
Uniform Shop OPEN
The Uniform Shop will be open to walk up sales of new and second hand uniforms, and exchanges for incorrect size flexischools purchases.
IMPORTANT: to meet current COVID requirements, everyone will need to sign in on arrival, sanitise hands and observe social distancing. Do not attend if you are feeling unwell or if anyone in your household is awaiting a COVID test result. Limit attendance to one parent - please only bring your child in if you need them present to select sizing.

P&C Meeting
COME ALONG!
EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting (virtually) and get a greater insight into what the P&C & the school are working on - plus Matt Townsend provides a school update.
If you want voting rights then you MUST also be a financial member (just go onto Flexischools under FEES and pay your $1 membership). You must be also be present via ZOOM to stand for an office or vote.
ZOOM link will be shared on our P&C Facebook page closer to the meeting. It will also be livestreamed on FB.
