Toilet Beautification
Thanks to the focus on the toilet beautification project by the school, P&C and kids, we garnered the attention of the Department of Education who upgraded all the main toilet blocks. This upgrade has included new floor and wall tiling, new partitions, paint and more. This much needed refurbishment enabled the P&C to focus on elements to beautify the toilets (rather than needing to spend on functionality, cleanliness and safety).

Uniform Shop Upgrade
Our dark and unworkable old space that looked more broom cupboard than shop was transformed during the 2019-2020 holidays. Thank you for the enormous volume of volunteer hours that were invested - from research and planning to painting, moving all the stock in and out not to mention the flat-packing - we are so very grateful. Approximately $8,000 was received from P&C funds for the purchase and installation of new shelving and storage space. Watch the video to see the transformation.

Lost Property System
Students loose a large amount of personal belongings every month, resulting in uneccessary waste and additional costs for parents. Now, when an item is lost, as long as it is labelled with the child’s name, students can pop it straight into their class bucket which helps the sorting process immensely.
Thank you to Elisha Curry for masterminding and executing this new system over the 2019-20 school holidays. It was also a relatively sustainable project, with all the horizontal shelves repurposed from the Uniform Shop!
