UNIFORM SHOP UPGRADE 2019/20 $8,000
Our dark an unworkable old space that looked more broom cupboard than shop was transformed during the 2019-2020 holidays. Thank you for the enormous volume of volunteer hours that were invested - from research and planning to painting, moving all the stock in and out not to mention the flat-packing - we are so very grateful 💙
LOST PROPERTY - 2020
It might seem like a small thing but lost property is no joke! Students loose a large amount of personal belongings every month, which used to result in rummaging through the lost property bins and clothes racks - not fun for anyone.
Now, when an item is lost, as long as it is labelled with the child’s name, students can pop it straight into their class bucket. As most students know their school cohort very well, this helps the sorting process immensely. Each class can then send a helper to lost property regularly to retrieve any lost items.
Thank you to Elisha Curry for masterminding and executing this new system over the 2019-20 school holidays. It was also a relatively sustainable project, with all the horizontal shelves repurposed from the Uniform Shop!
